Family Information Service Coffee Morning on Wednesday 3rd December
The Family Information Service will be hosting a coffee morning here at Adamsrill Primary school on Wednesday 3rd December between 9am and 10am.
Parents can attend to speak to representatives from the FIS to get advice on finding quality childcare, accessing funded early education entitlements and learning about local services and support for families.
Everyone is welcome to attend!

The first is for our Xmas fayre, which is happening tomorrow, Saturday 29 November. There will be gingerbread decoration, tombola, crafting tables, story readings, and Santa will be in his grotto.
The second is our general events poster for December. The calendar workshop on Saturday 13 December might be of particular interest to your kids and their families: our artist-in-residence Anna Arianova will be helping to make mixed media and collage calendars for 2026.

Mi & More on Torridon Road, Catford (SE6 1RG). Every Monday from 12–3pm, offer free hot food and drinks for anyone in need — including people who are homeless, low-income families, single-parent families, or anyone facing hardship.
No questions asked. No judgment. We are fortunate enough to have this space in the community so we would love to also do our part in the community and help others less fortunate.

We’re excited to share details of the next Sharing REAL courses designed for parents and carers, running over 4 fun and interactive weeks.

'Being a Parent’ - NHS with Lewisham Council
South London & Maudsley NHS Trust in partnership with Lewisham Council will be running ‘Being a Parent’ – a free 9 week group programme offered to parents/carers of children aged from 2 to 11 years old.
The course is led by trained Empowering Parents, Empowering Communities (EPEC) parent group leaders and aims to help children and families get the very best start in life by supporting parents/carers to manage their own and their child's feelings, communicate and interact positively with their child, use positive behaviour management strategies, and manage parental stress.
The course will run at Ladywell Family Hub 30 Rushey Mead, SE4 1JJ

Children Overcoming Domestic Abuse (CODA)
Children Overcoming Domestic Abuse (CODA) Programme is for children and mothers who have experienced domestic abuse. They are now accepting referrals for mothers with children in years 4 and 5 of primary school in September only.
Free English and Maths Tuition
We are a charity that runs free after school English and Maths tuition classes, and we will be running a programme in Perry Vale in partnership with L&Q. Given the location of your school, a lot of your pupils will be eligible for the tuition so we wanted to see if it would be possible to advertise the programme directly to the families.
To give you a little more context, at Tutors United we train and hire university students to provide free English and Maths tuition to pupils in Year 4, 5 and 6. Our tuition is developed by qualified teachers and supports the National Curriculum and runs from 4 – 6pm so it does not interfere with the school day and our programme is fully funded, so it is completely free for families.
