Adamsrill School Key Worker Provision

Adamsrill Primary School
To Inspire Excellence For All
Headteacher: Dr Increase Eko

Dear Parents/Guardians 20th March 2020

From Monday 23 March 2020 – in line with advice from the government – Adamsrill Primary School will be providing child care provision for the children of key workers (e.g. NHS staff, police, others in frontline services), as well as children with an Educational Health and Care Plan and those the school deem as vulnerable. A fully published list can be found on the school website. Please inform us if your child falls into one of the categories and then we will contact you to confirm that your child can continue to attend school.

If your child usually receives a free school meal, we will also be in touch with more information about how we can continue to provide this, with support from a scheme that the government has announced. If you are a key worker but able to supply care for your child then please do so.

Please also realise that pupils who attend school will have to attend for a normal school day (9am-3:30pm) in full school uniform. If you are one of the parents who have already responded, thank you. You do not have to send another email or respond to this. Breakfast (7:45-8:45) and after school clubs (3:30-6:00) are available for those pupils who normally attend.

Nursery pupils who attend their normal sessions (am or pm not both).

If you believe that you qualify for this support and wish to apply for your child to have a place, but you have not already done so, please send an email to

If you are sending your child in, please ensure that:

 They do not have the symptoms (dry cough and/or temperature)

 They have not been exposed to someone who has the symptoms

 You do not come into the school building

This is as much as we know right now and we appreciate your continued patience with us as we deal with this ever-changing situation.

Many thanks to all of our parents and governors for your continued support during these challenging times.

Please stay well and be safe
Dr Eko
