Nursery Phonics
As part of supporting our Phonics learning, we will be including a weekly update in the school bulletin.
Each week, we will also share a short video link for you to use at home. These videos will help you understand what your child is learning in their Phonics sessions and how you can support them.

Friends of Adamsrill will be selling ice creams and lollies after school on Friday 19th June.
Find us outside reception from 3.25pm and end the week with a frozen treat for just £1!
Cash only. All money raised will go towards improvements to the school supported by Friends of Adamsrill.
Calling all Parent Performers!
Do you play an instrument, sing, or even beatbox? This year's summer fair is all about music, and we'd love to showcase the amazing talents within our school community.
We're inviting parents and carers to take to the stage and perform at the Summer Fair Saturday 4 July.

Donations needed for the Summer Fair
With just over a month to go until the Adamsrill Summer Jam on 4 July, we need your help with donations for the raffle and toy tombola.
Toy tombola
Having a clear out over half term? Donate any good quality toys and teddies you no longer need for prizes in the Toy Tombola. Donations can be dropped off at reception after half term.
Raffle
Do you run a local business or know someone who does? Could you ask them to donate a prize for the raffle? We already have the following generous donations:
- Holiday club sessions at Munchkins at Sydenham High and St Dunstan’s
- Indoor climbing sessions at Rhino Boulder, Bromley
- Skate lessons at School of Skate, Peckham
- Fruit basket from Fresh & Fruity, Sydenham High Street
- Sound gong healing session

I am reaching out to share information about our upcoming community event, Rooted & Crowned: The Power and Art of Black Hair, taking place on Saturday 13th June from 3pm to 6pm, at Orchard Gardens Community Centre, London, SE13 7LQ.

Sharing REAL with Parents is a 4-week programme taking place at Best Start Family Hub – Deptford, focused on supporting children’s early literacy, communication, and language development.
The course offers parents and carers the opportunity to:
- Develop practical strategies to support learning at home
- Meet and connect with other local families
- Share ideas and experiences
- Receive free take-home resources each week
